Edith Rosell Mizell Jarrell, born June 18, 1944, passed away March 24, 2015, at her residence at the age of 70. Edith was a longtime resident of Sun and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by a daughter, Terena Koenig, and her husband Paul; stepdaughter, Vicki Lynn Jarrell (Barry) of Pickerington, Ohio; a brother, B.J. (Hilda) Mizell of Bush; two sisters, Verena Mae (Jackie) Bennett of Bogalusa and Annie Amelia (W.T.) Ingram of Sun.; and granddaughter, Devin Shaw, and her fiance Landon; stepgrandchildren, Liam Niemeyer, Nicholas Niemeyer and Logan Jarrell; daughter-in-law, Tonya Jarrell; and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Relia Verena Mizell; her husband, Donald F. Jarrell Sr.; infant son, Irvin Scott Jarrell; stepsons Donald Jarrell Jr. and Kevin Wayne Jarrell; a brother, Robert Mizell, and his wife Sylvia Mizell.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 27, 2015, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will resume Saturday morning after 8 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. After religious services, the interment will follow in the Mizell Cemetery in Sun.
