Shirley B. Alford born April 5, 1932, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015, at the age of 82. She was a resident of Bogalusa.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Alford and the parents, Eula and Lawson Bateman.

She is survived by her two daughters, Gayle Alford and Pattie Nobles, one grandchild, Haley Nobles, and one great grandchild Olivia Caldwell, and her best friend Betty Hardee.

Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home is in charge of services. There was a graveside service Monday, March 23, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at Ponemah Cemetery with Rev. Tommy Varnado officiating.
