Central Elementary School students were rewarded after being tested all week.

The students finished their Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers testing on Friday and were allowed to use the afternoon enjoying bouncy slides, games, activities and fresh fruit.

“We just finished up PARCC Phase 1 at noon, so this is a day for them to wind down and enjoy the games and activities,” Central Elementary School Assistant Principal Melissa Moses said.

Students were tested on the English language arts and math parts of the test.

“We got the slides, hotdogs, chips and fruit for them to enjoy as a reward for the students,” Moses said. “The students worked so hard on the tests and did a great job.”
