Denise Gale Miller, age 57, and a resident of Franklinton, died Saturday night, March 14, 2015, at her home. Denise was born on June 28, 1957, in Bogalusa to the late Ocie and Bernice Miller.

She lived at Riverview Apartments in Franklinton, where she had many friends and supporters and also attended the nearby Trinity Baptist Church. Denise was an active member of the Franklinton Association for Challenged Citizens, and the family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the wonderful staff for the care and support they gave Denise through the years.

She loved being with her friends and enjoyed her time working with the FACC.

She is survived by her sister, Michelle Amaya of Arizona; her niece and nephew, Taylor and Jonathan, whom she loved very much; and her brother, Dennis Miller.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Mitzi Amaya and Billie Jeanne Miller.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Friday, March 20, from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Walter Mixon officiating.

Burial will follow in Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
