Lois Faye Erwin Crain, a resident of Bogalusa, born Dec. 4, 1934, passed away March 11, 2015, at her residence here in Bogalusa surrounded by her family. She was a member of Superior Avenue Baptist Church and the Lydia Sunday School class that she so cherished with her sisters in Christ.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tammy (Curt) Hodge and Donna (David) Hodge; her son, Sammy Crain; seven grandchildren, Summer (Ricky) Allen, Stacy Saraceno, Tyler Hodge, Rusty (Whitney) McMillan, Sarah (Tanner) Pritchard, Jared (Olivia) Crain and Erica Crain; great-grandchildren, Jayci, Davin, Arkeem, Caden Allen, Deanna Saraceno, Nicole Lowery, Noah Pritchard, Luke Crain, Eli Crain and Presleigh and Rustin McMillan; sister, JoAnn (Gary ) Magee; and brother, Denny (Frankie) Erwin.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert “Saib” Crain; her father and mother, Perry and Marie Hines Erwin; brother, Layton Erwin; sister, Chinesia Crain; brother-in-law, Johnny Crain; nephew, Brian Crain; and brother-in-law, Bob Williams.

Visitation will be in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Friday, March 13, 2015, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will continue Saturday from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Ben’s Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. Elder Clyde Cooper, the Rev. Clay Norwood and Elder Billy Ray Hines will officiate.

The pallbearers will be Jared Crain, Tyler Hodge, Davin Green, Buddy Temples, David Wilson and Goat Penton.
