Harold Louis Pounds Jr. age 68, born on Feb. 8, 1947, in Bogalusa, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at his residence in Bogalusa.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Mae Pounds.

He is survived by a daughter, Veronica Mayeaux; two sons, Herman P. “Lavane” Mayeaux and Ben Allen (Margaret) Mayeaux; two sisters, Cindy Cavanaugh and Dena Pounds Scribner; a brother, Vic Gaut; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
