Good luck to local basketball all-stars taking the court today

The basketball season in Washington Parish came to a close Friday, as the four teams that entered Friday trying to advance in the postseason suffered losses.
It’s always a tough day when the season ends unless your team is the one hoisting the championship trophy.
It’s a day when seniors have played their final high school game on the same court as their teammates and coaches.
Many of these seniors have been playing their respective sports for their high schools over the last four years, working countless hours to perfect their game.
For four Bowling Green basketball players, Reagan Moody, Kristina Jerrell, Connor McCain and K.J. Robertson, they’ve got one more game.
They have received the distinct honor of being selected to the 2014-15 MAIS All-Star game after all four put solid seasons together.
They will be playing for the South AA-AAA clubs in their respective games.
This is a great way for these four seniors to cap off their high school career.
We would like to extend our congratulations to them and wish them nothing but success in today’s all-star games, which take place at Jackson Prep.
The girls contest is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. while the boys is set for 6 p.m.
