Although the area has received a bit of a respite over the last couple of days, Southeast Louisiana is currently in the midst of fog season. Above, the Pearl River was shrouded in fog Wednesday morning as both sides of the bridge were enveloped during the time when people are making their way to work. Foggy conditions are likely to persist until water temperatures rise.
