Dorothy Williams Pierce, age 94, passed away Feb. 26, 2015, at AMG Hospital in Bogalusa. She was a resident of Angie and member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Patricia Wilson and Phyllis Starks (Donald), both of Varnado; two grandchildren, Donna Simon (Joey) and Trent Starks (Rose), both of Varnado; and one great-granddaughter, LeeAnn Prisk of Varnado.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Pierce; parents James and Ophelia Williams, and numerous brothers and sisters nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at Seal Cemetery in Varnado. Elder Mark Hobgood officiated.
