Lee V. “C.C” Hopkins, age 85, passed away on Feb. 19, 2015, in Mandeville. He retired from Temple Inland after 45 years of service.

He is survived by his daughter, Allison Hopkins Penzato, and her husband Russell; and his son, Lee Walter Hopkins, and his wife Lori. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Robin Penzato Arnold, Megan Penzato, Ellen Hopkins and Emma Hopkins; three great-grandchildren, Elle, Celie and Luke Arnold; a stepdaughter, Janet Fornea Bracey, and her husband Carroll; two stepgrandchildren, Michael Bracey and his wife Jenene and Joel Bracey; three great-grandchildren, Justin, Nate and Jake Bracey; and his brother-in-law, Joel Allison, and wife Joan.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Allison Hopkins; his second wife, Ruth Fornea Hopkins; and his sister-in-law, Nelda Allison Thomas.

Visitation will be held Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, from 9 a.m. to noon at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home. Services will be private.

Mr. Hopkins enjoyed having lunch and visiting with his friends at the Washington Parish Council on Aging and would have preferred donations to that organization to further their work in lieu of flowers.
