Brenda Stogner

Brenda Ann Perkins Stogner, age 65, of Bogalusa died Feb. 6, 2015. Brenda was born Aug. 22, 1949, in Fredrick, Md., to Melvin and Helen Pierce Perkins.
She was a scanning manager at Winn Dixie for 20 years. She went back to school to become a certified nursing assistant for Family Home Health.
She has two children, a daughter, April Stogner Hartzog (Fields Hartzog), and a son, John Timothy Stogner; six grandchildren, Justis Hinton, Joshua Hinton, Mason Stogner, Peyton Stogner, Haley Hartzog and Austin Hartzog; niece, Hope Perkins Ferguson, Hannah Ferguson, Allida Cordova and Brad Ferguson; sisters-in-law, Donna Brooks, Sherry Clayton (Mike Clayton) and Lisa Stogner; brothers-in-law, Timmie Stogner and Steve Stogner; numerous nieces and nephews, all in which she loved dearly; and special family friends, Sherry Knight, Lana Spears, and Kelly, Scott, and Tyler Brant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Berry Stogner; her sisters, Deloris Perkins and Christine Perkins; her mother, Helen Pierce Perkins; and her best friend, Elaine Hall Schilling.
Visitation and the funeral will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home. The visitation was Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and the funeral will be Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at 2 p.m. Her final resting place will be beside her beloved husband, John Berry Stogner, at Carson Springs Baptist Church in Improve, Miss.
