Leroy Magee, age 85, a resident of Franklinton, passed away Thursday, Jan. 29, 2015, at his residence in Franklinton.

He leaves to cherish his memorie, his wife, Katherine Magee of Franklinton; three sons, Larry L. (Shirley) Magee and Shedrick Magee, both of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Kenneth P. (Nicole) Magee of Baton Rouge; one daughter, Cynthia M. Johnese of Baton Rouge; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one brother, Augustas Magee; three sisters-in-law, Rodah Magee, Jerry Dean Smith and Corrine Magee; one brother-in-law, Almo Barker of Baton Rouge; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley and Rosa Magee; and a brother, Wiley Magee Jr.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. with a family hour from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at noon at New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church, with Elder Johnny Causey Sr. officiating.
