John Michael Dodds III, a resident of Baton Rouge, age 74, born on June 22, 1940, in Bogalusa, passed away on Monday, Feb. 2, 2015, at Care Center Nursing Home in Baton Rouge.

John was a veteran and served in the United States Marines.

He is survived by a daughter, Alicia D. Harvin of Bogalusa; a son, John Michael Dodds IV of Bogalusa; and five grandchildren, Natalie Dodds, Drew Dodds, Rebekah Dodds, Trey Harvin and Rayburn Harvin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ethel Dodds; a sister, Kaye Dodds Martin; and a brother, Charles “Charlie” Dodds.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
