Jennifer Fendley

Jennifer Lynn Slaven Fendley, age 37 and a resident of the Isabel community, died at 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2015, as the result of an automobile accident.

She was a longtime cook and kitchen manager of Main Street Café. Jennifer enjoyed life to the fullest, and she adored her children and family. She was always a caring wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend that will be forever missed by those that knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Lee Fendley of Isabel; her four children, Christopher Fendley Jr., Hannah Fendley, Hayden Fendley and Abby Fendley; her sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Todd Dykes; her brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Mindy Slaven; her nieces and nephews, Taylor and Drew Ammons and their son Aiden, Tyler Slaven and Erica Slaven; her grandmother, Iris Todd Burn;s sisters-in-law and brothers-in-laws, Lisa and Pat Adams and Tara and Jason Hicks; her aunts and uncles, Patricia Weathers, Bobbi and Billy Smith, Linda Barber Missy and Louis Corkern; and numerous cousins and other loving family members.

She was preceded in death recently by her mother, Berry L. Ann Burns Stringer; her grandfather, Charles Robert Burns; mother-in-law, Justina Harris; sister-in-law, Jackie Harris; and aunt, Nelda Jean Burns.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Friday, Jan. 23, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Larry Archote officiating. Burial will follow in the Temple Baptist Church Cemetery.

The pallbearers are Robbie Corkern, Pat Adams, Keith Pokey, Charlie Barber, Tony King, Billy Breedlove and Casey Riley
