Rudolph “Rudy” Barber passed from this life on Jan. 17, 2015, in Bogalusa. He was born the son of James and Carrie Walters Barber on Nov. 17, 1944.

He is survived by two sisters, Wanzie Rowell of Crossroads, Miss., and Nora Barber Mize of Natchez, Miss.

He was preceded in death by his two brothers, the late Jimmy Barber and the late Alvis Barber.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation services on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home in Covington, followed by a committal service at Star Hill Cemetery in Warrenton, La., with the Rev. Joe Riccobono officiating. Rudy was a very happy fellow known to all in the community. Arrangements are entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home of Covington, 985-875-1131.
