Donna Hicks Englade, a resident of Bogalusa, age 70, born on June 5, 1944, in Bogalusa, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.

She is survived by a daughter, Emily Deer Toepfer of Baton Rouge; a son, David Hicks of Slidell; a sister, Allison Garmica of California; four grandchildren, Megan Johnson, Michael Johnson, Megan Weaver and Alex Weaver; and a dear and special friend, Pete Gard of Bogalusa.

She was preceded in death by a son, Norman Dale Weaver; and a brother, Bo Hicks.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
