Mrs. Yvonne Pittman, age 90, born on Sept. 29, 1924, in Fairhope, Ala., passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at the Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington.

Mrs. Pittman was a resident of Bogalusa, a retired schoolteacher with the Bogalusa School System and a member of First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Pittman was survived by her husband, Dewell D. Pittman of Bogalusa.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Dewell Craig Pittman and Bryan Keith Pittman, who died the same day as his mother.

Visitation was held Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 2 p.m. at the Poole-Ritchie Chapel. Interment was at the Seal Cemetery in Varnado. The Rev. Bob Adams officiated.

Active pallbearers were Harold Sumrall, Kevin Sumrall, Sam Sumrall, B. B. Sorrell, Daniel Sorrell and Collin Sorrell.
