Gwendolyn Bickham Knight, a resident of Bogalusa, age 90, born on Feb. 5, 1924, in Clifton, passed away on Jan. 1, 2015, at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa.

She was a member of Superior Avenue Baptist Church. She retired as a legal secretary at Talley, Anthony, Hughes and Knight.

She is survived by one daughter, Beth (Wendell) Fornea of Abita Springs; two sons, Bob (Alyce) Knight of Bogalusa and Ben (Janet) Knight of Spring, Texas; seven grandchildren, Joey Mizell, Julie M. Pittman, Brian Fornea, Chris Fornea, Lindsey K. Sandifer, Jennifer Armond and Haley Knight; and seven great-grandchildren, Destin Pittman, Daniel Pittman, Addison Mizell, McKenzie Sandifer, McKade Sandifer, Ella Armond and Gabe Armond.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claxton Knight; her parents, Denman L. Bickham and Wessie Pearl Smith Bickham; and a sister, Janis Bickham Stein.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral services were held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Tommy Pittman officiating. Interment followed at Ponemah Cemetery.
