Diana Sue Adams, age 73, born on Dec. 3, 1941, in Bogalusa, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at the Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe.

She is survived by her husband, Bennie L. Adams of Bogalusa; one daughter, Robin L. Adams (Danny Butcher) of Bogalusa; one son, Kevin Scott Adams (Patty Talley) of Bogalusa; two sisters, Nella Gillbeau of Baton Rouge and Betty L. Adams of Bogalusa; one brother, Sonny Byrd of Ocean Springs, Miss.; one grandson, Brandon Talley of Bogalusa; special extended family, who are thanked for their care during her illness, Bill and Brenda Armour; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Byrd and Velma Mizell Byrd.

Visitation was held at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. The funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., with Bro. Jim Byrd officiating. Interment will follow at McGehee Cemetery.
