Annabelle M. Walton

Annabelle “Belle” McClendon Walton was born on Feb. 23,1933, and passed away on Dec. 25, 2014. Belle was a resident of Bogalusa.
She was not only a mother but also a very caring and kind lady. She never met a stranger and was always doing for others. With everything she did in her life, she will always be remembered. Her family was her life. Heaven has gained a precious angel.
She is survived by her life-long partner, Dr. G.E. “Gibby” Caillouet, and his children; her two daughters, Terri McClendon and Lori (Rickey) Champagne; three sisters, Mary Lou Karr, Genevieve Olsen and Georgia Flanagan; one brother, Wally Rice; 10 grandchildren, Wendy Nicholson (Elder), Jenny Walton, Patrick Walton, Linwood Walton, Woody Mckenzie (Wendy), Matt Johnson (Jennifer), Phil Johnson (Amy), Jackie Coker (Todd), Alex Caillouet and Janet Caillouet; and seven great-grandchildren, Cameron Nicholson, Connor Nicholson, Mallory Sylvest, Marissa Walton, Skylar Walton, Bella Walton and Brandon Mckenzie.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Pamela Rene Walton; and husbands Charles “Chuck” McClendon and Linwood Walton Sr.
Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral from 5:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. and continued Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, from 9 a.m. until time for the service at 11 a.m., with interment following at Ponemah Cemetery.
