Ms. Eddie Murle Pittman 81, a resident of Bogalusa, departed life on Dec. 21, 2014. She was born on Sept. 26, 1933, in Sandy Hook, Miss., to the late Albert Pittman and Ida Ratliff Pittman.
Visitation will be held at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 26, 2014, from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, at the funeral home at 1 p.m., with Elder Larry Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories three daughters, Bobbie (Elder James) Gholar of Tylertown, Miss., Mildred Pittman of Franklinton and Ida Pittman Warren of Bogalusa; two sons, Richard E. Pittman and Benjamin Pittman of Bogalusa; six grandchildren, three that she raised, Aaron D. Pittman of Baton Rouge, Calandia Pittman of Franklinton, Devonny Pittman of Bogalusa, La’Boris T. Pittman of Bogalusa and Linda R. Pittman and Roland D. Pittman, both of Franklinton; one brother, John Pittman of Columbia Miss.; a special niece, Dorothy (Bert) Andrews of Deridder, La.; and a very special caretaker, LaShonda Hollywood Pittman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Pittman and Ida Ratliff Pittman;l two sons, David Earl Pittman and Nelvis O’Neal Pittman; two sisters, Emmia Taylor and Mary Weary; and four brothers, Enoch Pittman, Willie Pittman, Calvin Pittman and Nevers Pittman.
