Gaston A. Howard, age 90 and resident of Angie, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2014, at his residence. He was born June 5, 1924. Mr. Gaston was an Army veteran and served in World War II. He was also a deacon and member of Angie Baptist Church.

Mr. Gaston is survived by a son, David Howard of Angie, and a daughter, Suzanne Faul of Houma.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Goleman Howard, and his parents, A.C. and Gertrude Kennedy Howard.

Services were held on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, with visitation at 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Angie Baptist Church. The Rev. Larry Mizell officiated and interment followed at Bonnie Cemetery in Angie. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Angie Baptist Church.
