Lyndell Lois Strain Lee, age 91, passed away on Dec. 18, 2014, in Gulfport.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Floren Strain; her second husband, John D. Lee; a son, Roger D. Strain; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her children, Frank (Patricia “Pat”) Strain, Gary (Belinda “Lucy”) Strain and John D. (Jackie) Lee; a daughter-in-law, Merry Lane Barnes; her sisters, Sybil and Angie; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was a native of Carriere, Miss., and lived most of her life in Bogalusa before moving to the coast. She was a member of Pass Road Baptist Church, and she enjoyed ceramics, fishing and helping others.

Visitation will be on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in First Baptist Church Cemetery in Carriere.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gulf Coast Rescue Mission.
