Verglee Mary Ellen Dyson was called home on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, in Chicago.
Verglee leaves to cherish her memories three daughters, Bernice Dyson, Darlene Ward (Clinton) of Crete, Ill., and Denise Dyson of Chicago; and one son, Donald Dyson (Emma) of Waco, Texas. She was blessed with three grandchildren, Marquita Ward and Portia and Deshawn Dyson (Tracey). God also saw fit to bless her with four great-grandchildren, Shawn, Danielle, Daniel and Zayden.
Verglee Dyson’s mother, father, loving husband, one sister, Will Berter Warren, and two younger brothers, Clearance and Bonnie Warren, preceded her in death.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Union Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 23012 Silvercreek Road, Kentwood, with the Rev. Sherman Berry, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Union Chapel Cemetery. Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
