Mr. Richard Arlen Kuhn passed away at his home on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014. He was born Sept. 7, 1931.

He is survived by his sons, Richard Dale Kuhn of Bogalusa, Kevin Kuhn (Karen) of Baton Rouge, Roy Kuhn (Nikki) of Lafayette, Todd Kuhn (Terri) of Houma and Jason Boone. Also he is survived by his daughters, Lisa Kuhn-Helton (Allen), Macy Kuhn and Amanda Freeman (Chad), all of Bogalusa. He is also survived by one brother, Donald Kuhn of Bogalusa; three sisters, Francis Duncan (Eddie) of White Sands, Gladys Jenkins (Hardy) of Varnado and Wilda Lott (Larue) of Ponchatoula. He has 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Smotherman-Kuhn; his parents, Barney and Ruth Kuhn; four brothers, Willie, James, Martin and Ray Kuhn; and five sisters, Catherine Sharp, Ester Sheridan, Oneita Moore, Dorothy Harvey and Daphne Miller. His granddaughter Taylor Kuhn also preceded him in death.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 28, 2014, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., and services start at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014, at Brown McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, ending with burial at Ben’s Ford Church Cemetery. Bro. Lynn Martin and Bro. Chad Jenkins are officiating the services.
