Jacquelyn Henderson Moody went to Heaven on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at the age of 85.

She had a beautiful life with her loving husband, Jewel Warren Moody Sr. Jackie and Jewel celebrated 68 years of marriage on Aug. 10, 2014, with their family and friends. Jackie could teach a course on friendship, love and marriage. She loved to entertain and was a fabulous hostess for wonderful parties and get togethers. God, Jesus and Jewel were the center of her life. She read her Bible every day and prayed daily for her family, friends, and even strangers. She was one of the most spiritual and thoughtful people on God’s earth.

She loved her family and friends and always remembered their birthdays. She thought her great-grandchildren, Sanders, Isabelle, Allie, Kara, Tyce, Sky Marie and Jake, were the most brilliant kids in the world. Jackie’s beautiful smile will always be remembered by her wonderful husband, Jewel Warren Moody Sr.; children, Dru Moody, Diane (David) Daniell and Warren (Cecily) Moody; and grandchildren, Michael (Lauren) Daniell, Deanna (John) Staszewski, Trey (Ashley) Moody, Ryan (Lauren) Moody and Jeremy (Adrienne) Moody.

A graveside service will be held at Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. A reception will be held at The First Baptist Church fellowship hall immediately after the service.
