Milton “Tito” Rafael Barreto Hernandez, age 22, of Greenwood Street in Bogalusa departed this life on Tuesday, October 28, 2014, in Lafayette.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m., with family hour from 6 to 7 p.m.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at 3 p.m. at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa, with Pastor Miguel Robinson officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bogalusa Cemetery.

Survivors include his mother, Maria A. Hernandez of Bogalusa; father, Mitchell D. Newell of Bogalusa; brothers, Milton C. Barreto of Isabela, Puerto Rico, Christopher D. Newell of Mobile, Ala., and Mitchell Crumedy of Bogalusa; sisters, Milmarie R. Hernandez, Hatteisha Newell, Tamekia Short and Temetria Newell of Bogalusa; grandparents, Jose’ Hernandez of Moca, Puerto Rico, Rosaura E. Rivers of Moca, Puerto Rico, and Joe King of Bogalusa; uncles, Fernando L. Hernandez of Church Point, La., and Jose’ L. Hernandez of Moca, Puerto Rico; and aunts, Iris D. Hernandez of Ruskinm, Fla., and LaTonya Newell of Bogalusa.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annie Pearl Newell.
