Melton “June” Lowe Jr., age 53, of Franklinton passed away Sunday, Oct. 26, 2014, at his residence.

Melton leaves to cherish his memories five sisters, Mary A. Warren and Freddie Mae Lowe, both of Franklinton, Ada M. Brumfield and Alma (Fred) Brumfield, both of New Orleans, and Lisa (Rev. Keno) Spurlock of Baton Rouge; four brothers, Melvin (Doris) Lowe, James (Annette) Lowe, Joseph (Pricilla) Lowe and Marvin (Dorothy) Lowe, all of Franklinton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melton and Ada Lowe Sr.

Visitation will be Friday, Oct. 31, 2014, from 2 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 1, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Church of Christ Holiness USA in Franklinton, with Elder Jarvis Lee officiating and the Rev. Melvin Spurlock as eulogist.
