Tracey Brumfield Bracey, age 46, went to her heavenly home on Oct. 14, 2014, at her residence surrounded by her family, after a battle with cancer.

She was a native of Bogalusa and a resident of Mandeville. Tracey enjoyed being with her friends and family, as well as playing many types of games in her spare time. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who will be missed dearly.

Tracey is survived by her daughter, Tyler Bracey; mother, Thelma Brumfield; sisters, Debbie Lala and Rhonda Rester; nieces, Leslie Lala Burns and Wendy Trunch; and nephew, Zachary Rester.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas “T.J.” Brumfield; infant brother, Randall Brumfield; and her nephew, Scott Lala.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home in Ponchatoula on Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m. Bro. Sammy Smith will officiate the services, and interment will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery.
