David Jerome Brown, 63, of 321 Montgomery St. in Bogalusa, departed this life on Oct. 1, 2014, at his residence. He was born Dec. 22, 1950.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 11, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Nolan Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Robinson Cemetery in Varnado.

Survivors include three sisters, Jeanette B. James, Paulette and Amber Brown, all of Bogalusa; two brothers, William A. Brown and Jerry Brown of Bogalusa; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, grandparents and two brothers, Robert E. Brown and Charles A. Johnson.
