Brittany Bright

Brittany Jacquel Bright, age 20, a resident of Baton Rouge and a former resident of Franklinton, passed away, Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, in Baton Rouge. 



Brittany leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Carol Bright of Franklinton; two sisters, Jazmine and Courtney Bright of Franklinton; a brother, Ryan Smith of San Antonio; her grandparents, William and Jimella Bright of Franklinton and Mary Lou Bell of Hallandale, Fla.; nine aunts, Mallie Miller of St. Louis, Ellen Grace Garrison of Seattle, Nancy Bright of Covington, Barbara Bell of Hollandale, Fla., Sherrie Bright of Magnolia, Miss., and Elsie (Vernon) Wilson, Myrtis Lee Fox, Cassie Bright and Tricia (Frankie Lee) Crosby, all of Franklinton; 10 uncles, Timothy Bright of Clinton, Miss., Terry (Ruberta) Fox and Albert Fox, both of Tacoma, Wash., Joshua Bright and Markie Bright, both of Bogalusa, and Alex Bright, Ernest Bright, Edward Bright, Lucky Bright and Tyrone Fox, all of Franklinton; and a host of other relatives and friends. 



She was preceded in death by her father, William Joseph Bright III; her mother, Daisy Bright; and her great grandmother, Mary Lee “Big Mama” Fox.



Visitation will be Friday Oct. 10, 2014, from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton. 

The funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jerome Warren Sr. officiating. Interment will be held in Greater Hayes Cemetery.
