Lavern Ratliff, age 67 and a resident of Franklinton, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014, at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Terrance Ratliff of Dallas and Demond Ratliff of Franklinton; a granddaughter, Ajenae Ratliff of Baton Rouge; one sister, Shelia Magee of Mandeville; three brothers, Wilmer Magee Jr. and Hertis Magee of Franklinton and Phillip Magee of Baton Rouge; an aunt, Louise Topps of Franklinton; an uncle, Dock Dyson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilmer and Margaret Magee Sr.; and one sister, Anette Crain.

Visitation will be Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, from 10 a.m. until noon, with the funeral service to follow at noon at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton, with the Rev. Terrence August officiating.
