Sandra Barber Callihan, 59 and a resident of Franklinton, died early Sunday morning, Sept. 14, at Regency Hospital in Covington.

Visitation was Tuesday at Crain Funeral Home and continued there today after 9 a.m. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Paul Watts officiating. Burial will follow in the Stateline United Pentecostal Church Cemetery.

She enjoyed cross-stitching and tending her flowers, but her favorite pastime was fishing, as she could spend hours enjoying the peaceful time. She was always a loving wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey Houston Barber and Dora Mae Davis Barber.

She is survived by her husband of 26 years, William “Billy” Callihan of Franklinton; two daughters, Tracy Hughes of Des Moines, Iowa, and Amber Brumfield of Franklinton; a stepdaughter and spouse, Amanda and Jason Thames of McComb, Miss.; five grandchildren; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Susan Barber, Theresa and Michael Dufrene and Sheila and Daniel W. Bosch Sr., all of Franklinton; a special friend, Laura Brumfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Stuart Varnado, Kyle Varnado, Daniel Bosch, Danny Bosch, Michael Dufrene and Keith Thomas.
