Services will be held for the Rev. James Kenneth Rockco Sr. of Foxworth, Miss., at 2 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 15, 2014, at Woodlawn United Pentecostal Church in Columbia, Miss. Visitation will begin at the church at 4 p.m. Sunday.

The Rev. Rockco died Friday, Sept. 12, at his residence. Burial was in North Bend Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Philadelphia, Miss., on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

The Rev. Rockco was pastor of Pine Grove UPC in Foxworth. He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. and Mrs. J.B. Rockco of Franklinton. He is survived by his wife, Linda Barrier Rockco f Foxworth. He is also survived by one daughter, Marilyn Powell and her husband, the Rev. Darrin Powell; one son, James Kenneth Rockco Jr., and his wife, Kristi Bracey Rockco; and seven grandchildren, Darra Lane Powell, Darrin Wesley Powell and Andrew Paul Powell of Jayess, Miss.; and Dakota James Rockco and Dalton Lane Rockco of Jayess and Poplarville and Jack Dawson Rockco and DaKenna Grace Rockco of Jayess. He is also survived by two brothers, John Rockco of Franklinton and Willie J. Rockco of Denham Springs; and four sisters, Bobbie Dillon of Franklinton, Eva Knapp of Port Allen, La., and Shirley Rockco and Patricia Bradford, both of Franklinton. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.

His is also survived by two uncles, J.W. Rockco of Tylertown, Miss., and Bill Rockco of Montevallo, Ala.; two aunts, Sadie Morgan of Tylertown and Chris Daughtry of Sumrall; and a host of cousins and friends.
