Nettie Faye Keaton, age 74, passed away Sept. 12, 2014, at West Jefferson Hospital in Marrero, La. She was a resident of Bogalusa and a member of Palestine Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Harry W. Keaton of Bogalusa; four sons, all of Bogalusa, Elton Miley, Arlan Miley, Alan Miley and Anthony Wayne Miley; one brother, Denver Woodward of Sandy Hook, Miss.; seven sisters, Lula Pittman, Norma Miley, Kathleen Phelps, Alene Davis, Janice Sheridan and Juanita Boone, all of Bogalusa; one sister, Judy Millis of Franklinton; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Minnie Woodward; one brother, Jerry Woodward; and one sister, Elaine Renfro.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2014, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, from 8 a.m. until time for service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery. The Rev. Fred Brumfield, Brother Jimmy Byrd and Pastor Caleb Martin will officiate.
