Current Bogalusa City Councilman Teddy Drummond recently announced that he will be seeking one of the two at-large seats on the City Council in the upcoming Nov. 4 election.

“In the past four years I have never told anyone ‘That’s not my district.’ As far as I am concerned, the City of Bogalusa was, is and hopefully will be my district,” said Drummond. “During my first term on the council, I have worked with church groups, civic groups, businesses and individuals as well as the city administration to make improvements in the community.

“The people of District D have had a loud and clear voice, not just on the first and third Tuesday of the month, but at all times. I’d like to be that voice for all the citizens of Bogalusa.”

He continued, “It has been an honor and privilege to serve the people of District D, and if elected councilman at large I assure the good citizens of Bogalusa I will continue to work hard for you to improve the quality of life and move this city forward. If I can be of any help, please feel free to call on me at 750-2799. I hope to talk to each of you in the next few months. Thank you in advance for your support.”
