Kenneth M. Wilson, age 81, passed away Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at his residence in Varnado. He was retired from the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Department and was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia P. Wilson of Varnado; one daughter, Donna Wilson Simon “Joey” of Varnado; one sister, Helen McLaurin of Henleyfield, Miss.; one granddaughter, Lindsey LeeAnn Prisk of Varnado; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Wessie Wilson; brother Stanley Wilson; and sister Eule Mae Sullivan.

Visitation was held in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral Home on Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, from 9:30 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial was in Seal Cemetery. Elder Clyde Cooper and the Rev. Don Miley officiated.
