Billy Ray Clayborne, age 54 and a resident of Angie, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond.

He leaves to cherish his memories two brothers, Johnny Ray Weary of Varnado and Johnny Ree Weary of Bogalusa; a stepbrother, Jessie Ray Peters of Varnado; a sister, Linda D. Clayborne of Picayune, Miss.; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ollie Holmes; his father, James Clayborne Sr.; his stepmother, Ada Clayborne; two brothers, McArthur Clayborne and James Clayborne; and four sisters, Elizabeth Poole, Mary Clayborne, Arnell Daniels and Karen Hines.

Visitation will be Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Aug. 23, 2014, at 2 pm. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, with the Rev. Charles Galloway officiating. Interment will be held in Robinson Cemetery in Angie. Crain and Sons is in charge of arrangements. Sign the online guestbook at www.crainandsons.com.
