Diamond Sampson was recently selected to the American All-Star Dance Team. She was selected for her dance ability, leadership skills and overall attitude.

Sampson is scheduled to travel with the team to London to perform as a member of the American All-Star Goodwill Performance Tour during the Thanksgiving Holidays. On the trip, she will perform with the team, as well as sightsee and visit educational elements of the historic city. She was selected to the All-Star team while attending camp at Nichols State University.

Sampson worked hard to become a member of her high school dance team and also to be selected as an All-Star.

Sampson has trained at Dawn’s Dance Academy and Ashkay Performing Arts Dance, both of Bogalusa.

In 2009, she performed on Carnival’s Fantasy Cruise Ship on a cruise from New Orleans to the Bahamas.

Sampson was a Bogalusa High School student during the 2013-2014 school year. She was selected student council vice president.

Sampson is attending Salmen High School this fall and has been selected for the dance team. Sampson plans to attend to Southern University in Baton Rouge, where she plans to study nursing and be on the dance team.
