Morgan Louis Jones, born Dec. 5, 1946, passed away Aug. 6, 2014, in Covington at the age of 67. He was a native of Bogalusa. He is survived by a son, Samuel Jones of Pittston, Pa., a stepson, Charles Halliman of Bogalusa, a stepdaughter, Regina Hall of Arkansas, and nephews Steven Anthony (Rhonda Hill), Herbert Walker, Frank Walker and Huey Tomalane.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Susan Quave Jones, a son, Louis Jones Jr., parents, Morgan and Mildred Strahan Jones, a brother, Pete Jones, and a sister, Mabel Scicard.

A memorial will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.
