Angus Gustav Parker of Bogalusa, age 61, died on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at his residence. He was born, Tuesday, July 14, 1953, in Bogalusa to the late Simeon Parker and Beatrice Smith Parker.

He is survived by his wife, Shelia Koppenol Parker; his daughters, Amanda Gail Walker (Henry) and Erin Elizabeth Parker; his son, Jared Reece Parker; his grandson, Devin Ross Walker, Grandson – Joseph Lee Walker, Grandson – Avery Joseph Federer, Sister – Debbie Parker; his sisters, Cathy Mitchell, Minnie Taylor (Kip) and Susie Allen (Ben); and his brother, Joe Parker (Robin).

He was predeceased by his parents, his granddaughter Jordan Leigh Walker, his brother Benny Parker and his sister Margaret Mizell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington.

Visitation will be on Friday, Aug. 15, 2014, from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will be in Koppenol Cemetery in Madisonville.
