Mrs. Eliza Ann Garrett Watson of Folsom, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014, at her granddaughter’s home in Washington, D.C. after a short illness.

She is survived by her son, Louis (Gloria) Sellers, III; daughter, Deborah Sellers; six grandchildren, Kendell (Chanova) Mabry, Nina Sellers, Kamaria (Mark) Mabry Smith, Brandon K. (Kristen) Bell, Dexter R. Sellers and Hailey A. Sellers; eight great-grandchildren, Drew, Blake, Kellen, Braylen, Faith, Hope, Kendell and Naseem; an aunt, Mrs. Sybil Pierre; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Hazel Garrett; three godchildren, Johnnie Mack, Jill Evans and Jillian Garrett; two step-grandchildren, Jonathan and Jaylynn Vaughn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted D. Watson; parents, Losia Garrett and Annie Williams Garrett Aug-ustine; grandchild, Brandon L. Sellers; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret G. and James Mack; brother, Odell Garrett; and stepfather, Isidore Augustine.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 29, from 5-7 p.m., immediately followed by a Celebration Musical at Greater Payne Chapel AME Church, 84053 Highway 25, Folsom, LA 70437.

Her Homegoing Celebration will be on Wednesday, July 30, at 1 p.m. at Greater Payne Chapel AME Church. Interment will be at Folsom Community Cemetery. Obituaries can be viewed at www.crainandsons.com.
