Mr. Christopher Llwellyn Jefferson passed away at the age of 48 on Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Our Lady of Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his wife, Marie Moses Jefferson of Angie; mother, Linda Jefferson of Angie; two sons, Xavier C. Moses Jefferson and Brandon L. Jefferson, both of Angie; one daughter, Alexus Sowell of Baton Rouge; one granddaughter, Alleyonna Mingo of Baton Rouge; six brothers, Oscar (Shanutel) Jefferson of New Orleans, Marcus Jefferson I of Angie, Chancellor (Tonyah) Jefferson of Bogalusa, Melvin (Thomasina) Nichols of Houston, Terry K. Jefferson of Bogalusa and Marcus Jefferson III of Angie; one sister, Ursula S. (Kenneth) Bullock of Angie; a godsister, Toni R. Rochelle of Baton Rouge; grandfather, Marshall Jefferson Sr.; special godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard (Doris) Harry of Angie; special niece, LaKendra Bullock of Angie; three godchildren, Imani Jefferson of Bogalusa, Oscar Jefferson III of Baton Rouge and Jaylan Jefferson of Angie; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Oscar George Jefferson Sr.; grandmother, Chinesa Jefferson; father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. (Jerlean) Moses; and grandparents, Joseph Henry and Charlene Travis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, from 2-4 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, followed by a wake service from 6-9 p.m. at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church, 30773 Wesley Ray Road, Angie, LA 70426.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26, at 1 p.m. at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Terrence August, pastor, the Rev. Marshall L. Jefferson Jr., officiating. Internment will follow at Jefferson Cemetery.
