Jean Davis Woodward, age 83 and a resident of Bogalusa, was born on Sept. 21, 1930, in Pearl River County, Miss., and passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Trinity Neurologic Rehab Center in Slidell.

She was a member of Superior Avenue Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Woodward of Bogalusa; a daughter, Diana Gayle Teel of Panama City Beach, Fla.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, William Woodward Jr.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 27, 2014, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Visitation continued on Saturday, June 28, 2014, at the Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home Chapel from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

The funeral services were held at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Clay Norwood officiating. Interment followed at Ponemah Cemetery.
