Valerie Charmaine Sauls Boudreaux, age 45, passed away June 9, 2014, at her residence in Houma, La. She was born Feb. 28, 1969, and was a native of Bogalusa.

She is survived by two daughters, Kayla Steckler of Houma and Abigayle Rainey of River Ridge, La.; her father, Charles Wayne Sauls of Bogalusa; and one sister, Carolyn Hutto of Tallulah. She is also survived by one grandchild, Emma Lea Arabie; two nephews, Andrew Crain II of Bogalusa and Zachary Bond of Tennessee; and one great-niece, Roxanne Crain of Bay St. Louis, Miss.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Vilonie Sauls; grandparents, Jessie and Dorothy Harvey and S.A. and Zadie Dykes; one niece, Tabitha Crain; and one nephew, Bradly Crain.

Visitation was in the chapel of Brown McGehee Funeral Home on Friday, June 13, 2014, from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m and will continue Saturday from 8 a.m. until time for service in the chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Nobles Cemetery at Pine.
