Taylor Delane Miller

Taylor Delane Miller, age 19 and a resident of Pine, died Monday, June 9, 2014, at the Interim LSU medical center in New Orleans after a recent automobile accident. She was a member of Pine First Baptist Church and a Pine High School graduate in 2013. Taylor loved playing softball and was a member of the Franklinton Association for many years and also the Pine Lady Raiders softball team. She most enjoyed spending all the time she could with her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Rhi-annon Miller of Pine; her brother, Jacob Miller of Pine; her grandparents, Delane “Memom” Hunt and Guy “Pop” Hunt of Pine and Darrell Miller of Warnerton; uncles and aunt, Nick and Amanda Hunt of Thompson, Ga., Mitch Hunt of Pine; cousins, Gavin Hunt and Kylie Hunt and their mother Leslie Starnes; great-grandparents, Houston Hunt of Pine and Relious and Annie Bell Miller of Warnerton; and numerous other cousins and family members.
She was preceded in death by great-grandparents Eugene “Red” Martin Sr. and Veda Breland Martin and Travis Ann Hunt.
Visitation was at Crain Funeral Home Wednesday, June 11, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Thursday. A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. David Easterling officiating. Burial followed in the Pine First Baptist Church cemetery.
The pallbearers were Eddie Adams, Collin Cassidy, Andrew Nickel, Shea Hunt, Shane Hunt and Eugene Martin Jr.
The honorary pallbearers were Nick Hunt and Mitch Hunt.
