Dorothy “Dot” Williams Smith

Dorothy “Dot” Williams Smith, age 75, died peacefully at home in Baton Rouge on June 5, 2014, after a brief illness and is now in the loving arms of her savior Jesus Christ. She was born July 25, 1938. Dot was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend that will be missed.

She is survived by her three grandchildren, Prinavia Williams of Baton Rouge, Ben-jamin Holmes of Boga-lusa and Lonnie Holmes of Angie, one great-grandchild, Landan Williams of Baton Rouge, one brother, John C. Williams of Hazelhurst, Miss., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A visitation will be from 10 a.m to 11 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014, at Live Oak United Methodist Church in Angie, followed by a brief service and burial in the church cemetery. Cook-Richmond Funeral Home is serving the family.
