Christopher David LeBreton

Christopher David LeBreton was born on Aug. 11, 1977, in New Orleans. He departed this life on June 2, 2014.

Chris was a member of Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness under the leadership of the Rev. Wash-ington E. Drake. He grew up at Sweet Home, where he was loved by all who knew him. Chris was also a born again Christian. He was the kind of person who made an impact on everyone he met.

Chris graduated from Franklinton High School and later attended the University of New Orleans. Chris’ major was in education. He had a desire to teach high school math. He played baseball while growing up. He was also a die hard Saints fan.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Susan Crain Harmala of Hammond; two sisters, Pamela Berry of New Orleans and Kristen Harmala of Hammond; one nephew, Ethan Christopher Berry of New Orleans; one special aunt who raised him as a son, Marva Crain of Franklinton; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Barbara Sue Crain, who nurtured him.

The visitation will be held at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness in Franklinton on Saturday, June 14, 2014, from 9 a.m. until the time of service, which will be 11 a.m. The interment will conclude at Vernon Cemetery.
