Edmond John Salathe, age 92, born on Sept. 7, 1921, in New Orleans and a resident of Angie, passed away on Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Caroline Matthews Salathe of Angie; two daughters, Carolyn Virginia Seal of Angie and Leeann Salathe Sticker of Pineville; one sister, Dorothy Clare Crosbie of New Orleans; two grandsons; and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Erwin Thomas Salathe Sr. and Odile Henrietta Harding Salathe; three brothers; and one sister.

A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
