Chad Elton Miley

Chad Elton Miley, 38 and a resident of Pine died at 7:09 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014, at the Interim LSU Hospital in New Orleans. He was a member of Central Missionary Baptist Church that enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He loved talking to people on his CB radio, even folks all over the country. Chad was proud to be known on the CB by his handle “Eagle.” 
He is survived by his father, Elton Miley of Pine, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Laurie Branch and Dee Dee and Woody Adcox all of Pine, nieces and nephews Brittany Branch, Bridget Harris, Callie Adcox, Nicholas Adcox and Jamie Adcox, great-nieces Natalee and Emma, great-nephew Damian and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 
He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Thomas Miley, a grandmother, Grace Rowell Thomas, and grandparents, Hilmon Thomas Sr. and Bertha Nobles Thomas and Julius Miley Sr. and Eva Crain Miley. 
Visitation was at Crain Funeral Home Tuesday, May 27, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. and will continue after 9 a.m. on Wednesday. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Elder Doyle Ball officiating. Burial will follow in the Miley Cemetery. 
The pallbearers are Ricky Miley, Devin Miley, Nathan Miley, Brandon Brooks, Spencer Brooks, Jason Jarrell, Kevin Jarrell Dylan Jordan. Obituaries can be viewed online at www.crainfh.com
